Hey...I use a hair straightener on my bangs after I get out of the shower, and sometimes I will use it again later in the day if some part of my bangs are crooked. After I use if for a second time my hair looks SO greasy. (The first time I use it is right after the shower with my bangs still wet and they look fine after that) I use Aussie moist shampoo + conditioner if that matters, and I wash my hair everyday.
I have also heard people say to put baby powder on your hair to make it not look greasy but I have tried that and it doesnt work for my hair and I hate the smell of baby powder (lol)
Is there a certain type of product I can use or something so it doesnt look like only my bangs are greasy when they really arent?
Straightener makes hair look greasy!?
Hmmm.
try the line of Herbel Essences for greasy hair!
%26amp; dont straighten your hair right after the shower..you really do have to wait for your hair to dry, or blow dry it because that could be part of the problem!
Oh and maybe during the weekends if your not bussy and not going anywhere maybe not wash your hair when you take a shower, because your hair is probally to used to getting washed every single day! once you start that, it will adjust and be healthier and less greasy, haha i had the same problem!

I would personally watch out how much conditioner you are using. Too much conditioner around the scalp means greasier hair.
Best of luck

Straightener makes hair look greasy!?
Maybe the straightener was bad.It only last for a short time after it's been opened.Get a Shampoo that strips products out of your hair. Like Alternate Action by Matrix.Don't condition bang area.
Straightener makes hair look greasy!?
the grease is comign from ur forehead. Try blotting ur forehead quite often. and it could be ur shampoo try using a shampoo with no moisturizer in it that makes my hair greasy try like tresemme shampoos are good for my greasy hair. And try washing ur hair less often. and if you use hairspray then try a pomade a very lil gos a long way and warm it up really good in ur hands

i really don't think there is any product for hair that makes it look less greasy. i have to say i have tried the baby powder too! it worked ok for me.. i put it on my finger and then blended it into the root of the hair and into my scalp. maybe try it again with more powder this time. if you want to try another thing... i heard from a friend that using flour (like cooking flour), the same way you'd use baby powder, works. you're probably laughing but i tried it and it does! i've only done it two or three times (in emergency situations). but maybe that's worth a shot.. maybe you'll like smelling like flour over baby powder. hehe :)
*also i have heard the more you wash your hair, the greasier it will get.. maybe try to get your hair used to being washed every other day.. then it wont produce as much oil as it is now.

If you wash your hair with shampoo every other day %26amp; Cond. if you need, The in between day, just rinse it in the shower with hot water, %26amp; cond. the ends. If you leave the conditioner off your roots it will look less oily too ~!
Stop worrying about your bangs %26amp; don't re apply anything at school~!
