Please give your advice about my hair straightener !!?

so I've changed a couple of hair straighteners since I haven't been happy with the result. I have a wavy dry hair and the recent straightener which I purchased is a conair tourmaline ceramic cordless straightener which goes up to 30. I put lots of hair cream when I blow dry and straighten my hair and the straightener even burns my fingers if I touch my hair but the result isn't good at all please give your advice because I don't get how people who have a much more curly hair than I do get a very good shine sleek and smooth straight hair !! Thanks!

OK first after u take a shower squeeze out all the excess moisture then apply a serum this helps make Uu hair soft an then don't blow dry ur hair let it air dry unless ur in a hurry but remember to use a conditioner then u can straighten ur hair

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN CAUSE I STRAIGHTIN MY HAIR WITH A CONAIR STRAIGHTENER AND WHEN I TOUCH MY HAIR IT BURNS MY FINGERS TO; BUT MY HAIR GETS STRAIGHT. I THINK YOU SHOULDN'T PUT THAT MUCH CREAM ON YOUR HAIR WHEN YOUR STRAIGHTING, MAYBE THAT WILL HELP SOME

This might sound a little bit crazy but, a good way to keep your hair from drying out is to not wash it very often....(only about every 2 or 3 days). When you wash your hair, it washes out all the natural oil that builds up on the hair and it gets dried out. (If your hair gets too oily between washings, you can wet it and and just use conditioner, or you can use a little bit of baby powder to absorb some of the oil.)

Also, you might try using a deep conditioning or hot oil treatment about once a week. It'll help protect your hair from all the straightening and keep it in better condition.

I've been using Pantene's Ice Shine shampoo and conditioner, and I really love it. It's made my hair a lot shinier.

My hair is really curly and I've been straightening it with a Remmington Wet 2 Straight straightener for about 4 years now, and it works really well. It hasn't damaged my hair at all (which is amazing considering how much I straighten it...lol). So you might want to try it. (They only cost about $30).

And it you're not already....try straightening your hair in small sections. (that's the only way I can get mine to straighten at all...)

Using some type of heat protector on your hair before straightening it is a good idea too..

try a remington straightener. i have wavy hair too, my straightens pretty well, bu, try it. i used a conair and i had to go over it like 5 times before it was straight, but this one is like 2
