Hair straightener / flat iron?

Okay so I just figured out my hair looks really good when I straighten it, so now I want to get a straightener. I dont want to spend too much, like under $40, but can I even get a good one for that? I heard the cheap ones don't work very well and mess up your hair. So which straightener should I get?

The Chi straightner works great. You can pick it up at JC Pennys for 129.00. Well worth the price. I have naturally curly hair and this is the only straightner I can get to work for me. All Chi products are good. They have a website that you can order from.

go to walt mart or target and get a ceramic one they work really good just any one made of ceramic their only like 25 dollars.

umm....im in the same place you are. but because my moms a hairstylist, she can write it off as a beauty expense. try Sallys or a place for hairstylists to buy stuff

get a ceramic iron from hot tools.

those should be under 40 and work really well and before you iron your hair you should use some cream for your hair so when you iron your hair it doesn't get damaged hope i helped.

when i got my new one it was the best thing ever! it goes up to 200 degrees CELCIOUS! but i also heard the maxiglide is good.

Practically every straightener damages hair =( sad fact.

But, since i'm not from the states, i can't really suggest anywhere...although i'd check out ebay, lol

Sephora has good one that you buy. Wal mart and Target also, so when you shop online and go by prices low to high.

yea the cheap ones suck im saving up for a good one i use conair wet and dry ceramic straightner its decent i got it for $30 its really good but i would perfer somthing else

if your going to get a blow drier than get a really good one. Spend like $100 on a professional one and it wont damage your hair and works amazing. Just every week starting today put $25 aside and in a month you will have the money. Or better yet go to Cosco they sell ones for like $30 and they work good, just make sure to buy straughting balm as well, they sell it at CVS for like $5-$10. Also DO NOT BY FLAT IRON it messes up your hair so bad

I have a Conair ceramic straightener. It works great! It was only about 25$ I do not know the exact model but it has purple ceramic plates with an adjustable heat settings.

Thats all that really matters that if its ceramic and it has adjustable heat settings. You can pick them up at any beauty supply store or maybe even CVS. And it's under 40$!
