Where to find a descent hair straightener!??

i have a straightener but i hate it!! i need a new one but im not willing to pay $100 dollars on it. i need a new one that will work on my thick, wavy hair. i dont know where to get one. i want a really good one. please help me find one! thank you!!

I got a ceramic Revlon straightner at Target for around $25.00 - I dont know the specific model but its' white and says Revlon in gold on the side.

I had a similar scenerio: Not willing to spend so much and I have super thick and really curly hair. It's not top of the line but it works great! It lasted me about two years but I've taken on so many trips that its cracked so I guess the only drawback is its not superdurable for someone whose on the go as much as me.

Ummm if your hair is that thick and wavy you may need to invest in a really good ceramic flat iron...GHD brand is great!

I know what you mean, i have really really thick really really curly hair. It gets poofy like an afro in the morning. (That wasn't a joke i was serious.) Well, i got my straightener for $40. 59 at hairmasters. I hope i helped.

i agree bed bath and beyond does have a great selection of decent priced hair straighteners, also i think you should buy a ceramic 2 inch for your thick wavy hair.

Well you get what you pay for. I have thick, nappy, ethnic hair and I paid 140.00 for my Chi flat iron turbo and it is the best my hair is super straight I flat iron my hair once a week and it is bone straight and silky. I never cheap out on my hair because you get what you pay for, and those cheap flat irons takes days to heat up and damage your hair you need something ceramic with Ionic technology, if you had fine hair you could use those cheap flat irons but you don't so just go and buy a CHI go to www.beautydeals.net and I bought the regular one there for 80.00 not too much you hair will thank you.

If you really want great looking hair you're going to have to invest some money on it. I spend so much money on cheap irons that one day I decided to just buy one really good one, and it's lasted me 3 years and still going. I love it. If you want to save money you should just buy a good one instead of spending so much on buying cheap straighteners that do not work.
