Is there such thing as a straightener that doesn't damage your hair?

I am willin to invest up to $150 on a hair straightener that won't damage my hair, but make it silky. =) What would you reccomend? Thanks whoever's answering. =)

I bought this straightener from a vendor at the mall and it's called HerStyler straightener. It normally costs $200, but he sold it to me for $100. I was really impressed with the results because my hair was frizzy and after this, it was so super silky that I couldn't believe that was MY hair. I've used straighteners that claim to be "all ceramic", but the guy who sold it to me showed me the popular CHI straightener and scraped the top plates to reveal metal underneath the ceramic. This straightener the HerStyler is ALL CERAMIC, which claims it won't damage hair.

While some straighteners do damage hair faster than others, styling your hair daily and not properly taking care of it will damage it nonetheless, but this straightener does less damage.

Hope I helped.

use a ceramic plated one

no because then it wouldnt straighten your hair. you need some kind of heat to make your hair straight. and heat = damage. well if you do it too much that is

Any kind of heat on your hair is damaging.

Umm Nope.

Without the heat, it wouldn't chemically re-straighten your hair.

I've heard Ceramic Straightener's do less damage and make

your hair shiny. And that CHI is a good brand. There's a link.

Not but there is a thermo protection spray you can put on it before you straighten it

no matter what straightener you use, your hair will get damaged. However, you can minimize the damage by buying a ceramic straightener and setting it on the lowest setting that still straightens your hair easily. I have a straightener with titanium plates and I love it. The brand is jibere, I think. If I find a link I'll add it
