Hair straightener broke?

my hair straightener wont turn on! i went on a vacation and when i got home it would not turn on! can i fix it

Hair straightener broke?

I would take it to some kind of repair shop and see what they can do. Is there a RESET button on the part that plugs into the outlet? If so press that and it should work again!

Hair straightener broke?

It might still have a warranty on it. Go to the website of the brand of flat iron you have. Most straighteners have 1 or 2 year warranties.

Hair straightener broke?

Call the manufacturer. Don't screw around with electricity though, it might be beyond repair.

Hair straightener broke?

get a new one!

Hair straightener (herstyler)?

hello!! i was just wondering if anyone has a herstyler hair striaghtener, and if they like it. i hate mine, does anyone have any trouble with theirs??

also, i want to buy a new straightener, thinking about the iso international are they any good??

thanks閳?br>Hair straightener (herstyler)?

i use she hairstraighteners and i think that they are really good, iv had quite a few and these are my favourite so far! they also do them in pink...

she mk4 Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Straighteners

Features...

Floating ceramic tourmaline Plates with Built in microprocessor rapid heat up time

Infra red heat with ionic technology and ceramic heaters to eliminate heat spots

3 metre swivel power cord with Universal travel plug. plate size 2.5cm by 9.2cm

12 months warranty

hope this helps :)

Hair straightener (herstyler)?

i've never heard of that straightner but go with remington wet2straight閳?br>

you can regulate the temperature and put it on extra high so you can get stick-straight hair in one swipe. i love it, it's the envy of my friends!

Hair straightener (herstyler)?

Hm, I got my straightener at the mall, you probably haven't heard of the brand, Corialis? Well I've never heard of Herstyler before but if you need to get a new one, I don't think it matters much brandwise because some more expensive brands will rip you off and make you pay like 300 dollars for a straightener! When you buy a straightener, make sure it's 100% ceramic, and try it before buying it. If you still want to buy a good brand, I would recommend GHD, it's the best brand ever!

Good luck!

Hair straightener (herstyler)?

go-to your nearest hairstylist ask them what brand they use-also ask if they can recommend any other brands-

GOOD-LUCK

Hair straightener (herstyler)?

http://www.misikko.com/fachiceflir.html

I love this straightener and it workss better than any straightener. It also comes w/ a free biosilk sample to put on before you starighten your hair so it wont burn. =) good luck and I hope you like it.

Hair straightener (herstyler)?

I don't have a 'herstyler', I have a Sedu myself (been almost a year now). I use it about every 2nd or 3rd day before work. I really am happy with it and chances are I paid less than you did for your herstyler (from what I can tell).

My niece also has the Original CHI and she just loves it. Before she got it, she had 2 el cheapo's from walmart or someplace. They both burned out in about 6 months.

So, I would pick either a Sedu or a CHI since they do great results and are most likely cheaper than your herstyler.

Hair straightener (herstyler)?

You hate yours?? WOW

I love it, it's the first expensive straightener i bought over $50. The other ones seriously damaged my hair, this one makes it nice and smooth without any damage.

I really like herstyler...i dunno, maybe it's not for your hair, mine is normally thick and curly.

Hair straightener in germany?!?

ok, so i'm in germany so my hair straightener doesn't work.

i was just going to buy one but they seemed kind of expensive here and i just wanted a cheapy one. do you think it would be more expensive to ship one from the states? or just to buy one here?

and if i should have one shipped, then from which store? because it would have to be able to ship to germany.

thanks, it's kind of a stupid question...

Hair straightener in germany?!?

If your hair straightener that you already have does not work here in Germany, why do you think the one you would get shipped from the US would work here?

I would suggest to go to sites like "idealo.de" or "Preisvergleich.de", which are unfortunately in German, but they will show you the best prices for almost anything you might need that any store might ship. We baught our dishwasher from a store that "idealo" suggested, and they have stores for almost anything, from CDs to appliances to clothes to jewelry... I'm sure they have hair straighteners.

Haha, just checked. Yeah, they do. Look at the link:

http://www.shoppingfever.de/product_info...

that one's only 17.99閳?

Good luck!

Oh, and international shipping from the US can get very expensive, too. Been there, done that!

Hair straightener in germany?!?

well if u wana ship one from here paul mitcheal ones are really nice

3)you can straighten your hair EVERYDAY WITHOUT DAMAGING YOUR HAIR

Please help anyone !!!!!!!!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know where i can buy a cheap hair straightener that you can use EVERYDAY?

I don't think any hair straightener, no matter how good, won't damage your hair. For it to work well, it has to be on a very high temperature. The only way to avoid is not use one! But of course, that isn't practical, so you should get a good one which heats up quickly and will straighten your hair in minutes such as GHD or one I got called Corioliss, but they'll be about 鎷?0. And make sure you spray hair heat protector on before you use it.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know where i can buy a cheap hair straightener that you can use EVERYDAY?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know where i can buy a cheap hair straightener that you can use EVERYDAY?

I just bought a ceramic straightener from Sally's Beauty Supply, it costed $30 something, but you can adjust the heat settings to your hair type, and I have coarse hair ... I can use it once and it'll stay straight, I don't have to straighten it everyday like I use to with my conair straightener! Go to JC Penny Hair Salon and ask them about a conditioner (it's a spray) that you spray on your hair before straightening it, it's suppose to help prevent burning/damaging of the hair, and it smells really good, I just got some but I forgot the name of it, it's in an orange bottle $14, sorry couldn't help you anymore than that. My friend uses some kind of mouse/gel like stuff, it does the same as my spray does but it's by Paul Mitchell and you can buy it at Rite Aid for $16. Try this, maybe it'll help!!!!

beleive it or not,my friend got a perm last year and it was horrible so i went to boots and bought a perm kit and put the lotion on but instead of putting curlers in her hair,i just combed it straight for about half an hour. i basically followed the instructions on how to perm it but combed it straight and she now has poker straight hair and dosent even need to use straightners.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know where i can buy a cheap hair straightener that you can use EVERYDAY?

Go on Ebay, you can get your hairstraightners cheap and you cn get some protector spray on there while your at it!!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know where i can buy a cheap hair straightener that you can use EVERYDAY?

Sharing hair straightener...?

I have a play tomorrow night and I was thinking of bringing my hair straightener. Would this be okay? Or would the other girls' hair textures and sprays damage it? Just wondering. Thanks in advance! (By the way, it is a pretty big cast.)

Sharing hair straightener...?

The other girls hair textures really wouldn't hurt it. The flat iron is made to straighten many different hair textures. The sprays really wouldn't damage it unless they spray it exactly on the flat iron.

If any spray does get on it, when you get home just use a damp cloth to clean it.

Good luck with the play and have fun!!

Sharing hair straightener...?

It is really up to you... but you should consider the risks, someone might drop it, break it or even steal it! who knows!! You should take it with you to fix your hair and maybe borrow it to your close friends... plus I'm pretty sure other girls might bring their straightener and hair supplies....wish you the best of luck on your play!!!!!!!

Sharing hair straightener...?

It should be o.k.Just after the play and you bring it home make sure you wipe it down.

Sharing hair straightener...?

think its not a big prob. guess u and your friends r old n mature enough to take care of others' belonging.

yes u may use damp cloth to clean e mental plates. Its good for u to clean it once in a while too.

Sharing hair straightener...?

Alternative to straightening... If you have wild hair or curly hair. You might want to give mixed chicks a try (http://www.mixedchicks.net)

Their stuff works for me... makes my curls nice without chemicals or heat. I apply to wet hair and air dry.

Shipping is quick.

Good luck.

Hair straightener (agian)?

lol, earlier like 10 minutes ago i asked the straightening question if there was a straightener to straighten wet hair, but sadly from most people there isnt :(

but quite a few people recommeded me the Chi, so i'm willing to buy it, but i'm going to buy it from this site:

http://www.amazon.com/Farouk-Inch-Cerami...

do you think it's real? because it seems so cheap, considering a chi is over 100 dollars, i don't want one that would break easily, but at the same time, it is a bargain :)

thanks again guys.

Hair straightener (agian)?

Okay.. I buy from Amazon all the time. The only thing I would warn you about ( other than getting the CHI) is that although Amazon is a great place to buy I do not think they will honor the warranty on your flat iron if something was to happen. I recommend this site for flat irons they are very good to order from their site is full of information on products and it has tons of user reviews on their products. I recently bought the new Sedu and I love it. I read alot of bad things about CHI ...that they short out quick and they do not have a temperature control etc., anyways if your mind is set on a CHI then please at least consider ordering from this site. Shipping is fast and most of the time free... and they do carry the CHI ...

http://www.folica.com/appliances/straigh...

And remember to get a good heat protector spray or balm to apply before you flat iron to keep the damage down on your hair..

I hope some of this information was helpful ~~~~

Remember a warranty is really important especially if you shell out alot of money ....

Hair straightener (agian)?

YES THERE IS just read around i no one called the GhD its around $300

Hair straightener (agian)?

its real. i have one, i highly recommend it.

i also thought it looked cheap at first, but it is amazing.

Hair straightener (agian)?

I'm fairly sure that my friend has that exact one, and it worked well for her for YEARS. It did end up not working as well as time went by, but she took terrible care of it. As long as you take good care of it, it should work just fine for you.

Amazon often has really good deals... I'd trust it.

Where can I find a inexpensive hair straightener?

I went to Sally Beauty Supply and the hair straighteners there were around 50-70 dollars! I was wondering where can I find cheap ones that work nicely. (and are at a store I can just go to and buy) Please help.

How can I straighten my hair without using a hair straightener?

I need a way to straighten my hair without using a hair straightener. Hair straighteners damage my hair, give my split ends and make it really dry. Is there another way to straighten my hair without using a straightener, without getting a perm or going to a salon? Best answer goes to a detailed explanation. Please name your source! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can I straighten my hair without using a hair straightener?

How can I straighten my hair without using a hair straightener?

I have hair that is half curly and half straight and sometimes frizzy. I found that hot curlers (the bigger the better) after blowdrying regular (not pulling to straighten while drying) works best. The best kind of rollers are the velour kind. Leave them in for 5 minutes after heating up and your hair will be shiny and smoother. It will have big curls, but you can brush them out or smooth with your fingers. Conair in the purple and gray box work great. Good luck!

How can I straighten my hair without using a hair straightener?

One thing you can try is to towel dry and then finish by combing it until it dries more. Do not lay down in bed or sit back in a chair until it does dry because that will crinkle it up. Going outside in the sun also helps dry and keep your tresses straight. Take a walk after you use the towel and comb.

How can I straighten my hair without using a hair straightener?

Either Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine whole collection. or Herbal Essances Dangerously Straight system.

You might not be able to get it straight without a flat iron. But i Think If you used a blow dryer like Sedu blowdryer with a comb attachment. And use small toothed comb to comb hairs into place.

How can I straighten my hair without using a hair straightener?

cosmo says the best way to straighten your hair is the bigger the round brush you use when you blow it dry the better. There is also an entire line of frizz eaze products available at any drug or big box store. The thing about a perm if you did it at home would last longer than the other two solutions, just comb it thru and you shouldnt have curls or waves for about two weeks...maybe longer

How can I straighten my hair without using a hair straightener?

I copied this from a website... hope it helps!

How can I straighten my hair without using a hair straightener?

GO TO THE SALON AND SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO!@!

How can I straighten my hair without using a hair straightener?

theres no way you can get it perfectly straight without straighning it/blowdrying

But theres this product I use called Sebastians ( no idea how to spell it!) flattning balm or something.. it comes in a medium size bottle that looks like a cylender and its kind of a gel but it dosnt feel gelly at all when it dries- but it makes you hair dry pretty much straight if you brush it a lot ( apply it to DAMP hair not WET)

you can get it at any beauty supply store such as Beauty Supply Outlit

hope that helps!!

How can you straighten your hair without a hair straightener?

Do you mean that you can't bring a chemical straightener (relaxer) along? If that is the case, you can probably bring an electric straightening comb along. If all else fails, bring a good blow dryer with a nice comb attachment on your trip.

Can some body suggest me a good hair straightener.?

I'm looking for a hair straighteners which dont spoil or make my hair dry.and something tha is easy to use. Also what are the differences between

Ceramic Flat Irons

Tourmaline Flat Iron

Sapphire Flat Irons

Gold Tone Flat Irons

Traditional Flat Irons

Best Flat Irons

and which one is the best you think.my hair is not curly or staright,it is wavy.Plz suggest......

Can some body suggest me a good hair straightener.?

DUDE all I can say is that I am the perfect person to give you this answer ( vote be as best answer OK? )

Use the CHI ceramic straightener and use biosilk before you sraighten it or

..................use the chi where it stays to straighten hair

1. Take a shower in the afternoon (shampoo and apply conditioner , then towel dry it)

2. blow dry it: before you blowdry it use a little bit of biosilk

(they sell it at walmart)

3. BUy a ceramic strightener and straighten it: before you srtaighten it use a little bit of biosilk in each sectio n of your hair. Try to strighten your hair sectiohn by section and no more than 2 inches a section

4. then when finished staightening rub a little bit of baby oil in your hands and apply it to your hair (only a little bit where there is a little bit of frizz)

5. buy a hair net and put it around your hair at night and sleep with your face up

6. in the morning you will have baby hair and you will enjoy your soft pretty hair! Good luck!

Can some body suggest me a good hair straightener.?

im not sure where you can get it but a very good straightner is bionic.its a cream that is appied to your hair, the process normally takes about four hours.

and te best iron you can get is without a doubt a GHD ceramic hair iron.you can look any where online and get it shipped,i think they are only available in the uk

Can some body suggest me a good hair straightener.?

My mom is a hairdresser and I have a crazy texture after years of being her guinea pig. She recently sent me a flat iron with ceramic tiles. It is wonderful! you can adjust the settings, etc. Just remember not to do a big bunch of hair at one time. It lasts me at least 2-3 days! She got from her beauty supply store and it cost around $55.

Don't do the chemical straightener!

Can some body suggest me a good hair straightener.?

Look for the brand CHI, they sell at most hair salons or beauty salons providers.

Can some body suggest me a good hair straightener.?

Well unfortunetly all straighteners will cause your hair to dry out. Chi flat irons are very good. Use Ceramic always. They are less damaging to your hair, also makes your hair shiny.

Can some body suggest me a good hair straightener.?

i got a ceramic one from my hair dresser. it's awesome. here's a link to it. and if you're in doubt as to which one works best, talk to the person who cuts your hair. see if your friends have differnet kinds and see how they work on your hair type.

Can some body suggest me a good hair straightener.?

Try the Salon straight by Mark Cosmetics. The creams work well with dry hair and it wont get greasy. Good luck!

I need a hair straightener, other than a Chi?

Okay, I like to straighten my hair. But when I use a Chi, it makes my hair as flat as a pancake. I like strait hair, but not so flat. So what is a good hair straightener, other than a Chi, which is pretty affordable? Thanks for the help!!

I need a hair straightener, other than a Chi?

Try a chi on a lower temperature

I need a hair straightener, other than a Chi?

Anything ceramic! :D Or, if you use a chi, get some volumizing gel, put it on when hair is wet, blowdry hair, then straighten it. I had the same problem.

I need a hair straightener, other than a Chi?

I use the wet to straight straightener and its cheap..

it also doesnt seem to damage my hair at all and it doesnt make it too flat.

I need a hair straightener, other than a Chi?

Revlon Wet to Straight works good. Its what i used before i got a chi.

I need a hair straightener, other than a Chi?

well just try a chi on a lower temp and then when u get to the tip of the hair, curve it inside or out to give it a more natural look. or just straighten in layers!!!

hope this helps!!!

I need a hair straightener, other than a Chi?

ion?

I need a hair straightener, other than a Chi?

go to target and get a conair thats the one i have and it dosent make my hair flat

I need a hair straightener, other than a Chi?

conair or bed head

Really good hair straightener?

okay so for christmas im gonna ask for a straightener. but i need a good one. my hair is poofy and wavy/curly and frizzy. i need a good one that will get my hair straight, not poofy or frizzy, and keep my hair straight (my one now doesnt work as well) oh and please have it not that expensive. maybe like $50ish. idk. but thanks for your help!

Really good hair straightener?

Many people think that Remington Wet 2 Straight straighteners or Conair ones are good enough, but they do not know that there are straighteners out there that will straighten your hair in much less time AND will leave your hair a lot straighter, silkier, and shinier. Not to mention these straighteners will keep your hair straight for weeks and weeks, as long as you don't get it wet (with the exception of washing it)

Basically, I think you should just get one off this list. These straighteners all work good and have customer reviews and before %26amp; after pics. This is a top ten list, so yeah.

http://www.folica.com/appliances/straigh...

Really good hair straightener?

CHI- best straightner by far. It heats up in seconds, and straightens fast and easy. The straightness lasts all day and if doesnt leave your hair dryed out and frizzy but instead smooth and shiney! It costs about $130, but trust me, its worth the money, especially since you wont need to replace it for many many many years. I have hair just like yours and it takes me 15 minutes tops to straighten it.

Merry christmas! =]

Really good hair straightener?

that price range in between decent and pretty good

for around $65-70 you could get a bed head

$25-40 helen of troy

$20-25 conair

$20-25 revlon

$50 wigo

Really good hair straightener?

wet 2 straight is my favorite. they are like $30 at wal*mart or target. i have the same type of hair and it keeps it nice and straight.

Really good hair straightener?

HairArts are really good, but they're about $80. For a better price, I suggest an infiniti by Conair 1" Solid Ceramic straightener. Just don't get a wet to straight one (or whatever they're called), they really damage your hair and usually don't last long. You may also want to get a good heat protectant, like TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protectant Spray, to reduce/prevent damage. =)

Really good hair straightener?

i have the pink corioliss. its normally about 250 in the mall but i got it on ebay for 50. it works really well and your hair doesnt frizz out

Really good hair straightener?

chi's are by far the best but they are like 100$. revelon wet to straight is pretty good too 2nd best and it is 30$

Really good hair straightener?

the best straiteners are at least $100 if you don't want to damage your hair without putting product in it, %26amp;the CHI is the very best to go with, even if your willing to spend $300 on a straitner

Really good hair straightener?

CHI CHI CHI CHI CHI

What hair straightener is better?

Im getting a new straightener in afew days because mine is a total and complete piece of crap!

What one do you think is better between these two?

Maxiglide Flat Iron

or

Chi Flat Iron [What Chi is best?]

Anyother flat iron that are really good too?

I need like high power because my hair is really really curly, thick and the curls are reallt tight so my hair gets pretty long when I straighten it.

What hair straightener is better?

Do NOT get CHI. my family went thru 5 CHI in 3 yrs. Chi breaks within a few months and you have to pay $35 plus shipping to get it fixed.

Chi is being recalled now due to fire hazards. see:

CHI sucks!

ghd`s without a doubt!

What hair straightener is better?

GHD's (its in the name good hair day!)

my hair is super curly and frizzy, and these work amazing on me. mine were 鎷?20, i know they were expensive, but well worth the money!

What hair straightener is better?

^

What hair straightener is better?

I HAVE REALLY CURLY HAIR TOO (LIKE CORKSREW CULS )

pesonally i go with a vidall sassoon straighter

they work very well

but don't forget to embrace those curls :)

What hair straightener is better?

Remington Wet to straight. Its cheap, but im like you, i have REALLY curly, thick hair. It leaves my hair pin straight! It has different levels...1-30. Sometimes 30 can leave it too straight. haha. It also has a color changing mechanism that shows you if your hair is wet, damp, or dry. I got it for like, 25 dollars at walmart. I swear it was made for people with difficulty straightening hair, like us.

PS...its not always true that expensive straighteners are the only way to go.

What hair straightener is better?

I use to Revlon hair straightener and it works well. Like if your hair is thik you might want to use the one with more heat, and the one that you can adjust temperature an. Revlon is good because it has a lot of heat. I know because I have think hair too..

What hair straightener is better?

If your going with them i would say Maxiglide.

But if your taking our opinion then either GHD'S,

Babyliss,

Niki Clarke

or Braun

Their fab! But really it depends where you live like U.K. or America and if they are known their.

Well of course their know in the U.K. coz thats where i come from but i am nt sure about America.

Try asking a shop assitance which is the best.

Really hope i helped.

Good Luck!!

What hair straightener is better?

GHD

What hair straightener is better?

i use babyliss...it was about $80 or so canadian, so not too badly priced and it does a good job

although id ont have very thick hair, i do have quite persistent curls.

i have friends who also use babyliss and one of them does have pretty thick curly hair

it has adjustable heat settings, so you are able to adjust the temp. to what works best for you. and they have ceramic plates, which are the best to use.

What hair straightener is better?

ghd is great but the iron is really hot and can damage your hair. try babyliss

What hair straightener is better?

i don't know what each of the products are but why don't you treat yourself at the hairdresser and get your hair straightened and styled caroline o

What hair straightener is better?

chi becuz it also makes it silky

Hair straightener damage advice...?! Please answer!!?

Is there such a thing as a straightener that DOESN'T damage hair??(I've heard of a steam one)

If not, how much damage does a GHD cause?? Is this permanent???

Hair straightener damage advice...?! Please answer!!?

They all cause damage, they are terrible for your hair, let you hair dry naturally, i promise i know, i used to straighten my hair every day and now i love my beautifully wavy locks!! or if you dont like that idea get a chi turbo bc their awesome and get a heat protectant, like nexxus heat protecter, or their are tons out their, best alternative is to quit straightening your hair!!

Hair straightener damage advice...?! Please answer!!?

there isn't a straightener that doesn't damage your hair, because the thing that's damaging it is the heat - and all straighteners (even teh steam ones) use heat

GHDs in fact go to higher temperatures than most and are so worse for your hair

If you insist on straightening your hair, then always use a good heat protection spray beforehand, and condition ur hair everytime u wash it...occasionally using deep conditioning treatments which you can leave in for a few extra minutes.

Try to run the straighteners through your hair QUICKLY for minimum damage.

maybe you could start wearing your hair up in a ponytail so it won't need to be straightened so often?

don't let the straighteners get to hot either - the hotter they are, the more damage they'll do

Hair straightener damage advice...?! Please answer!!?

Any chemical that changes the natural pattern of your hair is damanging. Heat is a chemical too. Straighten with heat is harmful as well.

I need advice on hair straightener?

ok im a guy growing a mullet like this http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g123/u...

my hair curls up almost every moring in the back and i hate it.. my mom taught me to straighten my hair with the bruch and blow dryer but it doesnt keep my hair straight all day.. so i went and got a hair straightener now i read somewhere that you should spray your hair with someting so that it wont damage the hair that much but i dont have anything like that [ill go tomarrow and buy something] and i really want to use it tomarrow morning b4 i go to school so can anyone give me some tips on how to use it

I need advice on hair straightener?

if your hair is curly and strong and your only straighten the bck quickly and doing it everyday then i suggest a heat defence, indolla have a great one it comes in a spritz and its great its not to oily and it gives your hair a great shine. ring your local hairdressing salon to see if they stock a heat defence it will set you back any where form 13-30 bucks depending on the brand good liuck.

I need advice on hair straightener?

Go to Sallys beauty salon and buy beyond the zone its orange. Its really good for use with a straighting iron. Also they sell a straightner that is $29. that is great or conair has a wet to straight, straightner for about $20. that is also great. Too much of the spray will make your hair oily, try mostly on the ends.

I need advice on hair straightener?

I use Chi- silk infusion, it makes your hair soft and healthy looking. You use it before you straighten your hair, it is expensive but will last a long time because you only need a small dab to pull through your hair.

I need advice on hair straightener?

mate, dont worry about that spray till later on.

Ive been straightening my hair for the last 2 years and i only started using the spray this year. Just make sure that your hair is completely dry before you straighten it and that you condition your hair. here is a pic of my hair http://a101.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/ima...

What is the healthiest/most effective hair straightener?

I have had both low end Conair $40 straighteners to the Chi and Wigo $150 straighteners and never had luck with either. They all damage my hair tons and even with proper heat protecting products, they have fried my hair. I take great care of my hair, but hate using these tools because of the damage.

I have heard a lot about Sedu. Are they actually good?

What is the healthiest/most effective hair straightener?

Conair will slowly damage your hair because the heating sucks and you'll have to go over your hair a few times to get it straight. Expensive flat irons like CHI or SEDU or GHD will slowly damage your hair because the of the heating temp (burrrrning!).

This is why you had bad luck with them. Have you considered using a cream before straightening your hair to protect it from the heat? Try CHI Silk infusion. It is in a grayish bottle with a red cap. I use it and love how it works with my chi iron. It keeps my hair straight for days! :)

Hope this helps.

What is the healthiest/most effective hair straightener?

Well, Chi works pretty well if you have the hair products to mesh together with. :) For instance, if you get products that moisturize and soothe your hair, then it would possibly work well if you rub it in your hair before and after you straighten it. That's always worked for me.

What is the healthiest/most effective hair straightener?

there is not hair striaghtener that will not give you split ends....it just comes with like an attached package.

I need recomendations for a hair straightener?

my hair is thick and some days im just sick of it so i would like to know some good straighteners so that i dont waste money on junk. straighteners that dont cause my hair to have split ends or be very frizzy or dry. alll answers welcome.

I need recomendations for a hair straightener?

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons, including Sedu, HAI, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss GHD, T3, Kenta etc.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, GHD. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: CHI, HAI, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

How often is it okay to use a hair straightener?

I have wavy hair and it bugs me and I just got a brand new hair straightener. My hair is about 3-4 inches past my shoulders. I like using my hair straightener and have used it for 2 days now, but I'm not good at it yet and I only can get the first few sections in the front. :S Please give me any tips on how to get the back better. And also I have heard of how it can really damage/fry your hair if you use your straightener a lot. How often is it okay to use a hair straightener/curling iron? Thanks in advance! =]

How often is it okay to use a hair straightener?

If your sensible with hair straightening it won't damage your hair.

Its best to give your hair a full days break (including night) from straightening your hair. But if you can't for whatever reason.

Keep the settings on "low" and give your hair a good deep conditiononing 3 times a week.

Schwarzkopf have a good range in deep conditioning products and they really do work. Its best to leave the conditionor in for an hour with a towel wrapped around your head.

Its best not to blow dry your hair as soon as you've washed it. As it'll be prone to damaged hair, split ends etc

Unless you use "low" settings and take your time.

How often is it okay to use a hair straightener?

flip youre head towards the floor and let youre hair hang you can get it all and the back, or just pull the back parts foward. how often i dont know.

How often is it okay to use a hair straightener?

It's hard to get it in the back but keep trying, if you can ask your mom or someone to help you. And it isn't too bad to do it everyday, as long as you use a really good deep conditioner and some heat protectant serum. But on the weekends, if you aren't going anywhere, don't straighten your hair. Give a break once in a while.

How often is it okay to use a hair straightener?

i use my straightener almost everyday and my hair is fine. to get the back better maybe if u do it in front of a mirror , u can put another mirror behind you , you can see the back of your head alot better.

hope i helped :]

How often is it okay to use a hair straightener?

part your hair into sections. like pull the sides and top up to get the back, then let it down in small sections. it works a lot better than trying to get it all at once. and yes, straightening your hair can cause A LOT of damage because of the amount of heat. but now, they have plenty of products that help protect and fix your hair. just choose a product that protects against heat.

How often is it okay to use a hair straightener?

Well first off, I straighten my hair every other day or so, i mean, my hair isn't damaged at all. As long as you go to the salon regularly to get the ends clipped off, you should be fine .Now, in order to get the back, and underneath parts of your hair, take a small section of hair from underneath, and clip the rest on the top of your head with a claw clip. when your done, let all your hair on the top of your head down, and take a bigger section. You should move from the back/bottom or your head to the top. if you have bangs, straighten them first, and leave them down while you straighten (:

My hair straightener sucks!?

i bought a hair straightener ystrday at a salon. the brand was 'young' (neva heard of tat b4). it was quite expensive for me. it costs abt $100+.

but when i was using it tday, there was a 'pop' sound and the straightener is not functioning anymore.

worse, most of plugs in my house not functioning too! fcuk. i dnt knw wat am i suppose to do. i can repair it as it has guarantee. but wat abt the plug?

mann, tis really sucks!!

My hair straightener sucks!?

it sounds like you blew the fuse. you should have on either your straighteners plug or the plug on the wall a little red button that you can press, it should say reset or soemthing to that effect, and it should fix the problem.

i would probably take the straightener back, and if you are looking for a really good straightener, and i see that you are willing to spend some money on it, i would get a CHI, they really do work the best, better than any other straightener i have ever used, and if you get them from a hair dresser, who will get them from ace beauty supply, you basically get a life time waranty if you keep the original box and receipt.

good luck, and i hope this helps! :]

My hair straightener sucks!?

Get an electrician to examine whether the straightener was the cause, and if it was, contact the company and complain for damages and payment to repair it.

My hair straightener sucks!?

ask ur mom where the reset button is in your house. and get a refund for your straightener

My hair straightener sucks!?

i agree with nocole, but also being that much you would be under a warranty, take it back tell them what happen, something should be done, especially by the company...

but only do that if you have not blown a fuse...

best of luck sweet

My hair straightener sucks!?

so get your receipt and take it back,,,, duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the difference between a relaxer and hair straightener?

Where I live we only have permanent hair straighteners...but I got fed up with straightening my hair..it makes my hair very rough...yet I don't always want to fight with my curly hair.

I'm moving to the USA soon and I see people are talking about relaxers. I have a few questions about it:

1. Is it permanent, or lasts only until you wash your hair?

2. Does it damage your hair as much as straighteners?

3. Can it be used on dyed hair?

4. Is it as expensive as straigheteners? And can you use it yourself or do you have to get it done at a hairdresser?

Thanks!

What's the difference between a relaxer and hair straightener?

hair relaxer contains chemicals that keep the hair straight. You will have to have it done every few months to keep it straight with chemicals. It's conveinient when you don't want to spend a lot of time on your hair keeping it straight. This is more expensive

hair straightens are not permanent and need to be done every time after you wash your hair. This can cause heat damage but is less evasive on the hair than the chemicals straighteners. this is less expensive than chemical straightening as well.

What's the difference between a relaxer and hair straightener?

I'll give my option on relaxers.

1. relaxers are definitely permanent..most people who want to transition back to natural hair will cut off all the relaxed hair..or they will just cut off hair little by little.

2. With relaxed hair you must take extra precautions.Relaxers damage hair by destroying the sulfide bonds in your hair which weaken hair and by changing the basic structure of the hair shaft. The chemical penetrates the cortex or cortical layer and loosens the natural curl pattern and in the process this strips hair of moisture. However you can still have a relaxer and has healthy hair that is thick and long by constant moisturizing, go to healthytextures.com, and you will see my hair inspiration Macheriamour and she has a relaxer(even though I refuse to get a relaxer).

3. DO NOT USE IT ON DYED HAIR. this is a precaution that must be taken seriously...most hair stylist are not proficient in this. with your hair dyed your hair is already damages. however a relaxer will overprocess your hair.

4. Yes it is expensive, and DO NOT do it yourself unless you know exactly what you are doing. Box relaxers are a NO NO. get the Affirm relaxer (www.avlon.com) and have a good salon put it in. You should probably ( if you do get a relaxer) try to stretch it out as long as possible 10-12 weeks and only let them relaxer the new growth once it is time for them to do a touch up. relaxers cost about $60-70 each time..so yeah.

Have you tried a good flat iron such as a Sedu or Solia. go to folica.com and check them out.

What's the difference between a relaxer and hair straightener?

I liked Oneya's advice she told you everything you need to know and a free lesson you don't see often. Thanks Oneya, your a smart cookie! Good advice!

Tips and tricks for using a hair straightener?

I've got fizzy hair and I'm trying to get rid of it by using a straightener but the problem is that it doesn't show any big difference any time I use it.

plzzzzzzzzz help me

Tips and tricks for using a hair straightener?

Well you should firstly go buy some anti-frizz hair care products, get a shampoo/conditioner and some that just sprays on to moisturize you're frizzyness.

Now with that down get a good straighten that heats up quite quickly and gets hot quickly.

Put it on the hottest setting if you have thick frizzy hair and vice verse for thin.

Now clamp the straightener on a section of the hair, not too much and slowly, not TOO slowly, run the straightener from your roots down.

Continue on whole head.

If you do not fix your frizziness with products before hand you hair will become frizzyx100000000000 when you straighten it.

Hope this helps ^_^

Tips and tricks for using a hair straightener?

You might want to try getting an electric ceramic flat iron. They work a WHOLE lot better than regular flat irons. They get so hot that the heat penetrates your hair follicle and straightens it out. If you have problem hair you need to get a professional straightener they warm up to a hotter temp... try a chi, they're a little pricey but trust me its worth it! You can get them at most department stores.

Tips and tricks for using a hair straightener?

make sure you use a streightening serum, and use a fine comb on your hair immediatly before straightening. Failing that blow dry straight ish using hairdryer and barrel brush first to straigten, and then hair straighteners to flatten.

GHD are the best straighteners by the way

Tips and tricks for using a hair straightener?

The trick is to use a really good hair straightner. They can be pricy but well worth it. GHD (good hair day) is by far the best. You could also trying using them with a straightening serum and only doing small sections of your hair at a time.

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

your hair dresser can order you one, no you cant get one at walmart, no you couldnt get one tonight, and yes there is a straightening iron better than a chi thats cheaper...i got my revlon iron at walmart for $35. i luv it way more than my chi, i ended up giving my chi to my cousin.

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

And it works great.

Out of all the straighteners Ive bought, this one works the best.

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

Target.

Target has 2 of them. And if you don't want the ones they have.. and you like the colored ones. Buy a giftcard [ Whatever the amont of the straightener ] And use it online. But don't forget about the shipping charge!

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

I got mine at ulta for 8th grade graduation, and it;s the best.

Well, I have one that I like that I found at Walmart. It's a 1 in. Conair straightener and it's nice. =)

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

i have that straightner and i looooove it.

but i had to order it through a hair dresser.

i know walmart and other stores like that dont carry it.

you would have to check a specialized beauty store like sallys beauty or a big hair salon.

im sorry i hope you can find one!

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

I don't know what time it is where you are but call a hair salon in your area and see if they sell them. Tonight may be a little late as they don't sell them at Walmart.

Chi is the best I've found, I just love mine. Go for the extra $$ and get one that really works.

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

Nope they sell it at Ulta or any hair care place in the mall. A lot of salons sell them now too. The best one for the money is about $120. I've had mine for 3 or 4 years now. None works better I promise. Try it!

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

my ultimate favorite straightener is the remington wet2straight. it can be purchased at walmart, target, bed bath and beyond, etc. my hair never gets caught in it. it lights up 3 different colors depending on the heat setting (dry, damp, and wet hair). it automatically turns itself off in an hour, just in case you forget to turn it off. there's no complicated dial setting, just buttons. its only $25, and it comes in 2 sizes! you should definitely buy it.

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

these work really well and are adorable

http://search.ulta.com/nav/brandsub/Bedh...

hope it helps

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

oh i have that straightener and i love it...even if you have the curliest of hair it straightens it right out....i bought it when it came out and it cost me around $180 but it should be cheaper now...and no you cant get it at walmart usually this straightener only sells at some hairsalons, online, or maybe even nail salons depending where you live...what you can do is call some local hairstylists and ask if they have any. Believe me its worth buying...

-hope that helps...

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

Have you ever heard the slogan "Don't leave home without it"? (of course you have)...well that's exactly how I feel about my chi. I got mine through my hairdresser, sorry but that won't help you out tonight.

Chi hair straightener? PLEASE!!!!, help!?

they sell them at target i know for sure and i mean it's pretty good but i really love the paul mitchell straightener it costs a little more but is totally worth it

What hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy).?

what hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy). i no ghds are the best but i dont want to spend $300 dollars on one but im happy with anything around $250.

so what would you recomend?

What hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy).?

well your hair is exactly like mine, and mine is really thick %26amp; i straighten my hair almost every day, i use

corioliss pro %26amp; bought it for about $200.

=]

What hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy).?

VS SASOON!

What hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy).?

GHD's

What hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy).?

You don't need to spend that much money, you just need to get one that gets hot enough, preferably one that has a comb attachment.

What hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy).?

Chi's are awesome. I have one. It cost me around 150ish I believe. I have long very naturally curly hair and it works well for me. Make sure to buy a protecter to spray on your hair before straightening so you dont damange your hair from the heat. :)

What hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy).?

Over The Uk we have remmingtons, there pretty good try them. there around 60.00 (120.00 dollars)

Or if you dont wanna spend much try those double sides brushes with like ceramic plates there really cheap and they work, all you have to do is get your blowdrier and then comb using the hairdryer at the same time (If you get what i mean) and they REALLY work and there cheap ( but can take a while) if you use it make sure you use ANTI-FIZZ serum (Thats the only down side, your hair may become frizzy)

But there good

http://www.folica.com/Ceramic_Tools_S_d1...

But again GHD'S are soooo gd, !!! i also have them ! they work as well

What hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy).?

GHDs. They heat up really fast and they straighten hair really easily. Also, if you do it right, straighting sections a ta time, it looks really natural..not so fake dead straight. XX

What hair straightener is the best for layoured long hair (naturally wavy).?

babyliss straighteners heat up in under a minute, and cost less than $100 bucks.

also, make sure you buy a straightener with adjustable heat settings. if you don't, you won't know what temperature the straightener is getting up to, and you'll ruin your hair (a lot of the old CHI models don't have this feature and they get so hot that the glue, plastic, and plates all melt together). straighteners that have those heat settings also tell you what temperature you should use for your hair, so you won't be in the dark about how high you should put the temperature to.

Has anyone used this hair straightener?

I was thinking of purchasing this hair straightener for my sister as a birthday present but I'm not sure if its any good. Has anyone used it before and if you have can you tell me if its any good.

Its BaByliss Pro Elegance Straightener, 230

Heres the an image http://www.johnlewis.com/Electrical/Heal...

Or can you recomend any other straightener as good as GHDs but not as pricey because I'm kinda on a budget.

Please and thank yous.

Has anyone used this hair straightener?

never used it... i use my nice conair got it for 20.00 and works awsome

Has anyone used this hair straightener?

Yea.. i've actually used it before!! It's a good straightener, but the price is too high! You can get flat irons just as good as thst from Wal-Mart for half the price!!

Try this link!

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.g...

Has anyone used this hair straightener?

Like the first poster, I use a $20 straightener from Target. It's from ConAir...works WONDERS!! I attached a link w/ a picture, but I would get it at Target if you want it...it's cheaper...

Can I use a hair straightener directly to my hair? or Do I need to spray it with chemicals first?

Can I use a hair straightener directly to my hair without applying cream or sprays?

I'm just curious if it will damage my hair... LoL. =P what do you think is a good hair spray to apply when straightening hair?

How often can I use it?

I just bought a japanese hair staightener and I cant read the instructions very well...%26gt;_%26lt;

Can You give me a good advice for hair straighening? thanks =)

Can I use a hair straightener directly to my hair? or Do I need to spray it with chemicals first?

you can use it directly on your hair, but it does damage your hair after a few uses....i wouldn't use it too often (not every day)..... best to use products... GHD oil is good....

Can I use a hair straightener directly to my hair? or Do I need to spray it with chemicals first?

IT'S RECCOMENED TO USE A HEAT PROTECTANT,I USE TRESSEME, WHEN I USED HAIRSPAY, I FELT MY HAIR WAS "BURNT" SO I DON'T USE IT.. MAKE SURE YOU DO IT IN SECTIONS... IT TAKES LONG AT FIRST,BUT WHEN YOU GET THE HANG OUT IT, IT WON'T TAKE AS MUCH TIME.

Can I use a hair straightener directly to my hair? or Do I need to spray it with chemicals first?

it depends how you want to style it. you can put a hair serum to get rid of the frizzies, but it's not required to apply anything. It won't damage it without using anything. Good Luck!

Can I use a hair straightener directly to my hair? or Do I need to spray it with chemicals first?

Okay! This is what I do I put hair spray in my hair first then I straighten it then I spray it again so it will come out just perfect.

Can I use a hair straightener directly to my hair? or Do I need to spray it with chemicals first?

Any kind of heat will damage your hair.

I would only use it for "special" evenings. Daily is not really smart.

Make sure your hair is completly dry for best results unless it is a newer wet to dry model with steam vents.

I use a protectant spray when I flatiron but If you use Paul Mitchell "Super Skinny" hair products.... Shampoo, Conditioner, and Straighten Serum, you will not really have to flat iron much. I am SOOOOO glad my hairdresser suggested it. I get a liter of shampoo and cond for $25 and it lasts at least 2 months. The serum is about $15.

Chemical hair straightener - how to get it out?!!?

My daughter's idiot dad put chemical straightener in her hair this afternoon. (Ack!) As soon as she got home I had her wash her hair... I think it's the same as perm chemicals, and that her hair may be damaged, but not straight. Am I right? Thanks in advance for any help.

Chemical hair straightener - how to get it out?!!?

use some neutralizing shampoo and make sure it says neutralizing. and give her a really good hair conditioner and let it sit for a while then rinse.

Chemical hair straightener - how to get it out?!!?

You can probably get neutralizing shampoo from Sally's Beauty Supply or in the store next to the black hair care (I have a bottle but I don't remember where I got it *sorry*). She might just have to grow it out but wait a day or so because doing all of this may put a lot of stress on the hair.

Liquid hair straightener?

Ehh my hair isnt long enough to use a electrical straightener on I hate my curls. Does anybody know any hair products that will keep my hair straight?

thanks

Liquid hair straightener?

JUST GET A PERM AND REVERSE IT, DON'T ROLL IT BUT COMB AND LEAVE STRAIGHT. PUT THE LOTION ON AS DIRECTED, AND YOU'LL HAVE STRAIGHT.

Japenese Hair Straightener?

I'm getting the reverse perm for my crazy hair.

It's serioulsy curly, people even ask me, the kid who looks irish with pale skin and red hair, if I'm half black.

So Im getting the japenese straightener done.

Does it work good?

I hear it does, but you look silly when your hair grows back...

Japenese Hair Straightener?

i never got it done but it depends on where you get it from and how experienced the person who treats ur hair is. if its cheap, and weird, and you feel like this is not the top quality hair salon, go somwhere else. ask the person if they have done this before, u dont want to be the first person he/she "practices" on..i am thinking of getting it done..but remember, you cant color it after and if u have color in ur hair right now, u have to wait until the color grows out or else ur hair will get damaged. when ur hair grows back, it will be curly from the roots but then again u could just get a straightener and touch it up..takes 3 minutes..thats nothing to worry about..but remember taht ur hair is going to be reallly straight..and if u want to curl it with a curling iron, the curls will wear off in 10 minutes..just to let you know because im thinking of getting it done as well..

Japenese Hair Straightener?

My teacher got that done, and she looked great! She complained that when it started growing in it was curlier and poofy on the top then straight all down, but I didn't notice any difference. I suggest it.

Which hair straightener is good and below $70?

which hair straightener is good and wont damage my hair that much and also after my hair is straightened, it will look straight n shiny? any suggestions??? (also ones that are available at walmart)

thank you!

Which hair straightener is good and below $70?

There really arnt that many I know of that are under $70

i have never looked for staighterns at walmart

i would go to there website and see which ones they have availiabe

and type them in the internet (google)

and look for sites that have reviews on them

Which hair straightener is good and below $70?

i have a revlon straightner from wal-mart. its white w red inside it works fab!!

Which hair straightener is good and below $70?

The one's they sell at Wal-mart are all conair straighteners, and with the exception of two, they're all really crappy. The two that are pretty good are the curling iron/straightener two-in-one.. It heats up really fast and it's 30 bucks. I tried finding pics of it online, but none of the exact thing come up. The other one is the one that lets you adjust the temperature and turn it on/off. It's an inch and a half.. any of the thin ones don't work , so don't even bother buying those.

Babyliss straighteners retail for about 60 bucks and are well worth it, if you can find them. You can buy they at Trade Secrets (If there are any close to you..)

To be honest though, I'd just buy an expensive straightener, you'll get a warranty, they work REALLY well, and they'll last a lot longer than these wal-mart straighteners.

Which hair straightener is good and below $70?

The wet to straight one works good, even on just dry hair. I have one from walgreens that is conair and it was like 20 bucks. It works really good. the skinny ones tend to work better for me too btw. Hope i helped!

Which hair straightener is good and below $70?

Babyliss pro

Vidal Sassoon

Remington

There aren't many but they would be the best ones under $70 and there are different ones like wet to dry and

Which hair straightener is good and below $70?

I think you should splurge and get the Maxi Glide, it's about 90 bucks at Bed Bath and Beyond. It works WONDERFULLY. It made my corkscrew, dry curly hair feel so silky, and straightened AND detangled all in one. It's perfect, trust me. I just got mine, and already, I'm completely addicted. It's great. Seriously.

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

I have wavy hair that's frizzy, thick and somewhat dry.(i'm caucasion, so i don't need something with too much heat settings..) i want to straighten my hair, but don't want to damage it..what's the best type of straightener? it doesn't matter how much it costs...so any help is appreciated!! thanks in advanced!

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

I use an strightener called "ionic strghtener" Its suposed to not dry your hair out as much. I bought it for 70$ at TJ max, but it originally costs 140$. Also try using "Sun Silk." It is AMAZING. It puts back mosture in your hair and only costs about 5 dollars. You can buy it at a supermarket or a store like CVS

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

a chi is good for any hair, just use leave in conditioner before straightening it.

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

Any Chi straightener will be good. Use Chi products -- especially the ones that protect your hair from the heat. YOu have a lot of hair that will be hard to straighten, but Chi is the best.

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

there's a product called FEELS LIKE SILK that in combination with a flat iron or even a blow dryer on a low heat setting will have it silky, frizz free and straight for the entire day.

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

I have the same problem. You need to get your hair thinned out somewhat to make it easier on you. Try to thin it once every six months or so. As for a straightner, you need one with ceramic plates. You should probably go for a wide one so that it is done faster. Make sure you use heat protector on your hair. You can buy it in spray bottles or some shampoos come equipped with it.

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

I think I have similar hair and I use the Sedu 1 1/2". It smooths my hair perfectly and seems to "lock in" the smooth/straight effect. Even when it's a bit humid or drizzly out, the hair stays mostly straight (when I've used lesser straighteners, my hair immediately poofs up in wet weather!).

Here's a link to the straightener: http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_d1...

It is expensive, but I think it's worth it! Enjoy :)

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

the best hair straightener is Revlon Ceramic it is really good and it works the best it haves like a temp. to control if you want it really hot or not so hot I had one before I got this one and I like Revlon Ceramic the best.

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

I use Remington T-Studio Collection. It costs about $35, but it works better than some $100 straighteners like Chi. The Remington model leaves my hair shinier and softer. That's because it uses ions which leave hair shiny. It also has ceramic plates so the heat doesn't cause as much damage. The heat settings go up to 200 degrees farenheit, but I usually set them to 160. It straightens my hair without using too much heat. ---%26gt; http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref...

Best hair straightener for dry hair?

get a straightener that is ceramic. tht works better than any other..

oh and dont forget to use a hair cream tht protects ur hair from the heat..so u wouldnt damage it. =) and then use a frizz easing serum and shine spray and voila! ur beautiful =D

hope it helps!!

Carla hair straightener, where can I buy it?

I am living in USA now and can not find this amazing hair straightener. There is nothing like it in the US and even the hair salons can not match what I could get from this product. Does anyone know where I can buy one online? Or maybe I can order from a hair salon in Philippines?

Carla hair straightener, where can I buy it?

tHE BEST Place that I Know of is http://www.hairproducts.com or Sally's Beauty Supply ! ! !

Carla hair straightener, where can I buy it?

Hi, I tried Carla Straightening %26amp; it did wonders to my hair. I left it on only for 5 mins and my hair looked straight, silky and shiny. Its been 6 months now, and my hair looks the same. I have a lot of them, so if ure interested, you can buy it from me. Report It

Buildup on hair straightener?

My hair straightener has hard buildup on it from hair products. The buildup is not just on the edges, it is on the whole plate. I have tried rubbing alcohol and that barely got a little off after rubbing for several minutes. I've tried letting it heat up and then wiping it with a wet cloth but that didn't work either. Is there anything else I can try, or is it just time for a new straightener? They are expensive and I'd like to not have to get a new one.

Buildup on hair straightener?

Make sure the straightener is OFF, grab a household cleaning product, like CLR, and scrub at the buildup, afterwards, make sure ALL the cleaning product is wiped away, and resume using your newly clean straightener.

Buildup on hair straightener?

Try some dawn dishwashing soap dilluted in water, and scrub at it with a stiff toothbrush.

Buildup on hair straightener?

Make sure its unplugged...not just off. But yes, cleaner works.

Buildup on hair straightener?

Try scraping it off with a flat piece of plastic. Don't use metal because it will scratch the straightener and the scratches will make stuff stick to it again... I find scraping is the best to get that stuff off! It dissolves in water/alcohol but it usually takes a long time to dissolve and come off that way.

Is Hair Straightener for males?

My hair is pretty short, I am tired of using wax so I am considering buying a hair straightener, but is that for male? Coz many answers I see in here are females, so I doubt it is only suitable for long hair.

Thanks.

Is Hair Straightener for males?

Yes, I have a male friend who has short hair too and straightens his hair with a hair straightner. It looks hott =D

Hair straightners can be for both females and males.

Is Hair Straightener for males?

Anyone can use a hair straightener, it doesn't have a sex. My fiance uses one. Its really no big deal who uses it if you like the outcome.

Is Hair Straightener for males?

They have male products that straightens and add curl. But, it really doesnt matter if the product is geared toward men or women, it will do the job either way. Its just that the male products is more sutied for short hair. But women have relaxers now for short hair, which comes with less relaxer in it.

The relaxer you use shouldn't really matter if it has a man or woman on the front, as long as it is put in PROPERLY, there really shouldn't be a problem.

BUT, beware, relaxers can permanently change the texture of your hair AND once you start, you must keep it up. A lot of my male friends who were getting cornrows and braids, got tried of pressing their hair so they decided to perm it and their hair became dry and brittle because they did not properly care for it. Getting a relaxer does not immediately guarantee the easy road. But, if taken care of properly and maintained properly, you shouldn't have a problem.
