Should I buy a Remington Nano-Silver Slim Hair Straightener?

I wanted to get some opinions, I want to buy a hair striaghtner, but I have never bought one before. What do you think of the Remington TStudio Nano-Silver Slim Plate 1 Straightener?

I saw it at target the other day for about $45. Has anyone used this model/type of hair straightner, and would you recommend I buy it?

By the way, I have have kinda thick, straight hair but its kinda frizzy. But I want it too be smooth and silky. I'm guessing I don't need a super strong hair straightner, so could the Remington Nano-Silver work for me?

This may be beyond your budget, but if you're going to buy a hair straightener, I'd spend a little more and get the ones they use at salons. Try Chi or Sedu. I've been using my Sedu for years and it's 100 times better than the ones they carry at Target or Walmart. You might not think you need a strong one, but it's a lot less damaging on your hair to use a good quality one so that you don't have to go over the same area of your hair multiple times.
