I am going to get a remington wet 2 straight hair straightener and I was wondering how hot do they get, like 400 degrees or what temperature?

it's not good at all.

i had one of those wet to straight irons and lemme tell you that messed up my hair. it burned the ends.

i have to grow it out and cut it all off, because if i cut it off now my hair would have to be a pixie cut or something.

please don't make the mistake i did!

You really shouldn't be straightening your hair when it's wet. The heat fries your hair and it looses its luster and protective oils. Your hair will become extremely damaged if you use it. I suggest that if you need a straightner to use one if your hair is already dry.

I believe they get up to 300 degrees... but I woudn't suggest it either unless you have really unmanagable hair. =] Use straightening gel when doing this too, pleaaaasee.

Don't get them. They just fry your hair. Its not good to straighten your hair wet.

getting this is a waist of $$$$. trust me. i bought one and it didn't work at all. in fact it fried my hair and left it poofier that it was originally.

No! Do NOT get that straightener! I had it before and it gave me split ends all the way up to my ears. It really doesn't even get all that hot.
