ouch! It really depends on how bad it is. Generally, no they don't leave scars. but you'll have to let it heal by itself. Just try to remember not to put it too close to your face/scalp next time, to avoid it. You can try getting an aloe vera plant, and then cutting off a leave, and spreading the goo from it all over the area. It's really soothing and I'm sure it will help a lot.

Sorry to say they do leave scars. Two weeks ago i also got burned but on my hand and i still have a scar. The only thing i can tell you to do is to buy a fading cream.

Yes the burns do sometimes leave scars, It depends how big/bad the burn is. I have a scar on my neck from where i burnt it a few weeks ago with my straighteners, its about an inch long, its horrible. All my mates were teasing me saying i had a hickey. :(

Uhm im not sure how to get rid of them faster, but i know they take two or three weeks to go away. Just dont pick at the scab when you get one, if you get one. And make sure you clean it properly while it is still an open wound.

You can't have both comfort and beauty. I have done that many times, since I was careless with my curler. And I tried every over the counter product to get rid of the burn fast.. but none of them were very effective.

After doing some research and help from a co-worker who studies remedies.. I found out that the best way to get rid of a fresh burn is to apply ALOE VERA gel on it.

Now you have two options, you can either go buy an aloe vera topical.

Or! You can go buy the fresh plant itself. (Which is not only natural, but cost you so much less money!)

Instruction: Cut one of the stems from the plant and slice it in half.. there is a fresh gel inside it.. simply apply that over your burn spot and it will heal it much faster than medication, without any use of chemicals to irritate your skin.
