Should I buy the maxiglide hair straightener?

I have extreamly curly hair, and I previously owned the maxieglide hair straightener. Unfortinally it broke because my cat chewed the cored. I really liked this straightener because of the steam option, but my hair did start to curl back by the end of the day. Is their a better hair straightener that I should consider buying?

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

I have the KQC and my hairstylist used it on my hair and it did wonders but to get the best result i would get a good blow dryer and a good hair straightener. Another good hair straightener is CHI and good hair blow dryers is the CHI Turbo and the one I really like was the T3 Tourmaline. Hope this helps!

i also have extremely curly hair and i love my maxiglide lol, ive had many others (including a chi). when i got mine they sent some products to help with the straightening...it also made my hair softer. i also noticed that other straighteners burnt my hair/made my hair stick up and frizz even with product on it.
