it is bad to out wax on my hair? then use the hair straightener?

I guess it's okay, but if I could i wouldn't (unless it was designed for straightening afterwards)

I would reccomend to you that you use a Straight Blam before you straighten it and then wax it out after you straighten in.

Then use a ceramic hair straightener (ceramic straighteners cause LESS damage to hair than a non-ceramic straightner) after you straighten it either use a texture wax to hold it in place, hair spray (GET GLUED works best, or Schwartzkopf's hair spray), or a flat iron spray (herbalessense has a plat iron spray that's in everbodies price range if you don't want to pay crazy money).

Okay I'm probally an idiot, but sorry can't answer this one to well I don't know what hair wax is... but most likely it is bad, I straighten my hair for quiet awhile (about 4 years) and best thing is just shampoo condition than an after bath condition than straighten it and about once a week do a deep condition that stays on for 30 mins than rinse it off.

I've used hair wax, gel, or hair putty and then straightened my hair. I still have a full set of hair. Just make sure you put some type of hair cream or spray that will protect your hair from the damage the heat can do.

I try to use hair wax sparingly when I do use it. It's great for creating texture and for laying down the law when your hair tries to get sassy.

As for combining it with a hair straightener...It depends on what straightening method you use. Wax combines pretty well with heat, but it can interfere with chemical straighteners.

The key to using wax is to use as little as possible. Otherwise you'll have a real mess on your hands. Also, be sure to wash and condition your hair thoroughly afterward because once you put the wax on, it ain't going nowhere until you wash it out.
