I just got a new one, its a "CHI" and i ADORE it, its ceramic and glides over your hair, its a 2" i believe, so its easy to make little curlies or whatever you want! its about 150ishh, but worth every penny, check them out!!

I would go for a ceramic straigtner, they are better for your hair. May sound dumb but the more expensive usually the better it is for your hair. But if you plan on using it daily make sure you are using the right styling products and treatments to protect your hair.

If you want a hair straightner then get a ceramic one.
The whole idea is to give out negative ions, one of the newish things is Tourmaline, thats good, or Titanium, which tends to be more expensive. So if you can get one with either of those.
Also digital displays are good, high temperatures, and always remember het protection spray.
