i dunno if to buy Boots Hair Straightener kit .my hair kinda curly but it wont stay straight all day long,iv tryed so many diffrent straigh ing creams but nothinked worked.it costs to much to go to the hair dresses to get it done.my mum and dad wont let me get a pair of ghds.the wind can very easly blow my hair out of been curly and i blow dry it straight and use my staighners but still wont stay straight.should i gete boots kit.
my hair has been and there is no highlights in my hair and i have never bleeched it.

I'm going to be honest, my hair is quite kinky and I went out and bought this. Then I changed my mind because I thought it was too good to be true. Maybe I'm wrong but I just didn't risk it because it makes your hair very fragile. if you are going to buy it, make sure you do a strand test, DON'T FORGET! You might regret it if you don't.

If you want to straighten it use a perm kit one of the cheap ones from walmart and do like you are doing a perm and instead of rolling it comb it for the time you are to roll it. This works way better than any straightning kit and last longer and way cheaper. I done it to my own an da few others so I know it works

Have your hair chemically straightened, it'll cost a bit but it'll stay straight for ages and not do as much damage as continuously straightening it. My friend has thick black afro type hair and it worked fantastic on her hair. Consult a hairdresser for advice.

I would never, ever get my hair permanently straightened by a hair salon never mind on my own at home! The amount of damage those kind of treatments do is so not worth what they're supposed to do. They totally redesign all of the bonds in your hair by chemically breaking them down leaving no form or structure left in your hair.
GHD's are really good but there are other hair straighteners that are just as good but cheaper...your local salon will most probably sell similar straighteners just the cheaper version.

don't do it, rather save up for a pair of GHD's, you wont be sorry, i have had my mine for 2 years and have never looked back....
but if you really want to chemically straightened rather go to your hair dresser, doing it at home will more than likely end in tears..

Use the Relaxing products meant for African hair.
I am a mixed race girl, and had frizzy, big hair as a child. Not much afican about it. Still i used the relaxer and it worked great for me. Plus I tried it out on a (white) friend of mine and the results were great! It makes it 50% straighter and much less frizzier. If you have short hair, you have nothing to lose. If you have long hair, i would try natural products first. (Because relaxing will make your hair dry)

Hiya! I have actually used this product and thought it was very good, I did it on my own but it would be much easier if you had a friend to assist you. It takes some time to do as well so leave yourself a few hours in order to do it and if someone you know has some really good straighteners you can borrow the result will be even better. My hair has been dyed, highlighted the lot and I did not find it damaged my hair and the fact of the matter is that using your hairdryer and Straighteners will damage your hair anyway so by doing this you are actually giving your hair a break.
