Hair straightener on wet hair?

I have been constantly using my hair straightener after wetting my hair for quite some time now and i realised that you're not suppose to be using it on wet hair.

How do i know if my hair is damaged because it still feels smooth and doesn't look fried or anything at all.

lol well then that's mean you made it just in time before you start damaging your hair if it was damage it would be dry -frizz thick different texture and DRY!!! lol

straightners like wet to straight are allowed to be used on wet hair. They are meant for that. Maybe that's how ur straightner is. :]

Who said that you weren't supposed to use a hair straightener on wet hair? They're wrong! :) They make some especially for wet hair... and I've been using mine for years, and everyone says my hair looks beautifully healthy. It's called Remmington Wet 2 Straight.

Well, hopefully you didn't do much damage, but make sure you STOP and don't do it anymore...it doesn't matter if the hair straightner said wet-to-dry even, because it's still gona burn your hair. If you can't tell, that's good! Just don't do it anymore

wait til its at least a little bit dry and using remington wet 2 straight which i have (but i use it when my hairs dry) just use it when its still damp, not dripping wet or anything or u definately will damage your hair, they made it for the convenience it doesnt mean you should do it all the time. try blowdrying it until its mostly dry then do i t, when i try doing it with my hair still wet it turns out really bad.

those wet 3 stright or ANY kind of iron that says you can use it on wet hair is a lie..

i have one and i used it on my towel dried hair.. i even waited for it to be sorta dried and it FRIED my hair.. now my hairs dried out and fried.. i cant cut it now b/c it'll be way too short..so i have to wait till i grow it out and then cut it to get rid of all the bad hair.

If ur straightener is like a flat iron u are really damaging your hair. but there are some that are used on wet hair. check with ur hairstylist
